I am needing to remove the tripod socket from a 2x3 Series B. I have removed the 4 machine screws around the perimeter of the socket but it will not budge.
Is it glued to the camera bottom? It will not pull, pry, or turn. Inside of body has a support block of wood bonded in place so I will not attempt to remove it.

EDIT:
It was stuck. A BIG pair of pliers did the trick.
