Bought a beautiful Graflex Super Graphic sn 645654. But missing the upper and lower connecting arms for the focusing screen assembly. I've tried for a day to find them, but no luck. I have checked the parts sources listed on Graflex.org with no luck. Part numbers 36079-G1 and 36079-G2. Attached is a link to a PDF that clearly shows what it needs.

Thanks in advance, Kip......

Watch ebay and be patient a complete focus panel or the arms will eventually show up. Installation is a PITA. You have to lift up the outer end of the spring, slide the arm in then release the spring ensuring it rests on the flat of the arm. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |

Right. I'm putting a "favorite watch" in eBay now so I'll get notified.

I just got involved with Graflex last week- so far, seems these parts are pretty scarce. I bought the camera on eBay for $180 on speculation that the part would be easier to find. Still happy: it is a very nice camera and another example of how there was a time when we were master craftsmen and manufacturers here in the US. My serial number research on the date came up with 1957-8- it's in incredible shape for something 64 years old. _________________ Kip Duff |

645654 is in the middle of the second batch of Super Graphics listed in 1958. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |

Am I correct that only a Super Graphic back- or Super Speed Graphic back will have the correct parts? _________________ Kip Duff |

Yes. The only difference between the two is the name plate. The Super Speed came with a Graphic 1000 shutter, the Super didn't. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |
