I recently purchased a lens in a synchro_compur shutter. The shutter seems to stick when it is set for either 1 second and at 1/2 second shutter speeds.
Anny help would be apreciated. |

These shutters are prone to sticking, I had a couple cleaned and lubricated last year, cost was about thirty pounds each. Even after this treatment old shutters do tend to be a bit sluggish, but at least if consistant you can allow for any slowness.

Since you probably don't know when it was last cleaned anyway, with that condition I would send it to Steve Grimes to rejuvinate. He's the best! |
