I wanted to try to finish my Crown Graphic by replacing the body shutter cable that feeds behind the bellows and onto the shutter assemble. I had a replacement cable so I thought I would make everything work properly. I do not use this shutter when using the camera but a direct cable into the lens pocket.
Okay, it looks like it should be easy but it may be hard to get to the screws to removed and replace the cable. Do I need to removed something, "Lens board", bellows or whatever to get a direct shot at the screws? Do I simply place the connecting ring over the pin and screw it into place? I know this is a silly question, but I'm not that familiar with working on the Crown.
I thought I would find instructions online or perhaps a YouTube video but so far I'm coming up empty.
I appreciate all help and yes I know this shutter is probably not needed or often used.
Thanks

Major difference is the rangefinder between the two versions.
The bellows have to be disconnected from the body to access the screws at the body release. The diagram for the positioning of the cable at the body release must be followed else the release will not work properly.

Its a total PITA, been there done that.

Thanks.
This I understand, "total PITA"

Glad I asked the question before just digging in. I think I'll spend the time shooting and leave well enough alone.
Best,
Patrick

Good project for when it rains for several days.
