				Hi,

I was gifted a 2 1/4x 3 1/4 B&J and am looking for some guidance on a repair. The "arm" that provides the linkage from the rangefinder to the lens has disconnected. I think there is an additional part I need to attach (I got a Baggie too with a little part in it) but have no idea what the finished assembly is supposed to look like. I'd describe the part as having a "lobster claw" shaped piece at the end - if that helps at all.

If anyone has a description, photo or manual of how all Of those pieces are supposed to go together, that would help immensely

				| If -- very big if -- the B&J arrangement is like the Graphic one, your lobster claw should be attached to the lower end of the arm and should engage a sort of peg on the side of the rail. It will disengage from the peg when the bed is racked forward past the rangefinder's close focusing limit. It -- very big if -- the B&J arrangement is like the Graphic one. |

				| I think instead of fixing it on your own, you have to have it repaired to a specialist. male extra |

Reattaching the rangefinder arm sounds tricky. If anyone has a photo or manual showing the assembly process, please share it—Betsy could really use the guidance! _________________ 2024 |
