I thought I'd combine two sets of of questions under one post since who ever knows the answer to one probably knows the second.

1) my C has a 103mm / 4.5 Busch Prestar lens in a Pressomatic shutter (10-200 speed), and I'm fairly sure that both pieces were made by others. But I've checked some other manufacturers' (such as Kodak) and don't find a 103mm listed. Any information on the manufacture and quality of these two components?

2) the leather GG hood is missing from this camera. Is there a metal hood available, and if not, any suggestions on where to find a replacement?

Hi Vincent,

The 6x9 Century Graphic by Graflex came with a 103mm f4.5 Trioptar and Graftar lenses in Century shutters. The glass I'm sure was made by Wollensak as there is also a Wollensak Raptar 103mm f4.5 and all sound very similar in price and performance.

As for a metal GG hood that would fit your camera...no idea. Sorry.

Bruce...thanks for that...I was able to Google the Wollensak 103mm and come up with additional information...also, I looked a little harder and found the shutter to be made by Wollensak, so that solves that...hoping someone in the community can help with the GG hood...
