Hi Les. I had a look through my collection and out of 6 US military Anniversary models only 2 have the bumps alongside the focus rails , a PH-47-E (#326825) and a PH-47-F (#341809), the first probably a '43 and the second maybe a '44? I recently sold one too that, looking back at the photos, had the bumps (#323425). Of the civilian versions I have, none have the bumps.
Hope this adds to your database.
Cheers to all,
Bruce |

Can you clue me in on what bumps you are talking about? _________________ Glenn

Hi Glenn,
About 6 posts below this one [Dating a(nother) black Anniversary] Les was asking if anyone has Anny Speeds with bumps in the bakelite strips alongside the focus rails and adjacent to the focus knobs. There is a photo of these bumps in that post, and I have to confess to never noticing them before Les asked.
Cheers,
Bruce |
