Officially all Graflex production stopped in December of 1974, but I think camera production stopped quite a bit earlier. I had Serial number 991019 which had a date code of B3B or B8B. I sold it to a guy in Hong Kong who had one from June of '73, though I don't have any proof of it. _________________ "In order to invent, you need a good imagination and a lot of junk" Thomas Edison |

My Crown B3B Feb. 1973 is serial 990998. You said you had one #991019 that was B3B or B8B. B8B would have been 1978 well after Graflex was out of business..unless it was 1968. But mine is clearly B3B. Those camera are only 21 numbers apart so they were probably made at nearly the same time B3B. Do you know how many they would produce at a time or in a batch or in a month? _________________ John Dersham-www.johndersham.com |
