				| Hi everyone, Ive recently purchased a Super Graphic camera and its been great taking photos with it, but Ive been wanting to do some work in hte studio and I cant seem to understand how I can sync a flash to the lens, since I dont see anywhere to sync a chord.
The lens is a 135mm 4.7 optar on a Graphex shutter. As far as I know theyre pretty standard for graflex cameras, so I assume lots of people here in this forum know about it and could point out what am I not seeing here.

 thanks a lot!

				| Go to http://www.cameraeccentric.com/info.html and take a look at the http://www.cameraeccentric.com/html/info/graflex_6.html . Use your browsers save page as function to save a copy of each page to your computer for future reference if desired.
Looking at page 5 of the user guide, on the shutter right side looking from the front are the Bi-Post flash sync connectors that are making contact with the coupling that connect them to the side socket on the Super Graphic.

If you have a factory supplied lens/board for your Super then you will need a flash sync cord to connect to the body side socket. If you have a lens mounted on a standard Graphic lens board then look for the Bi-Post pins or a PC socket on the side of the shutter.

A factory flash sync cable will be hard to find. They have household socket(s) for strobe connection. A household connector looks like the older house 120V plug, two blades of the same size, and will fit into a 120V socket.

Paramount cords may be able to make you a sync cable.

				| There *were* Graphex shutters made *without* flash synch! I own one such. Paramount *can* make just about any flash synch cord with connectors one could possibly need, but obviously not if the shutter isn't synched. Here's the direct link to Paramount's Graflex page:

				| Paramount cords Graflex list contains the following Error for the Super/Super Speed Graphic: On their site they claim that the two pins close together are for M flash sync, they are Not.
The two pins close together are for remote solenoid tripping. X or M flash sync are controlled in the shutter. The solenoid delay is not adjustable.

FYI: The Super Graphic and Super Speed Graphic are the same camera. The Super Speed came from the factory with the 1000 speed shuttered lens, the Super did not.
