I just got quite a project. It is a front hinged, back opening, pleated viewing hood 5x7 Auto Graflex. It needs plenty of help, but I'll take it a step at a time.
I am lookking for info as to the original lens used on this model. Also I need a source for new body leather. Any help on this model will be appreciated.

F&S would fit any lens of your choice on nearly all of their cameras so in truth any 5x7 lens could be considered proper.
In the 1906 catalog they list seven. The better, and easier to find ones are:
B&L zeiss protar VIIa #10 7 7/8" fl from a pair of 13 3/4" cells
B&L Zeiss Tessar IIb f6.3 - 5x8 8 1/4"
Cooke Series III f6.5 #6 Probably the 8"
Dagor Series III f6.8 8 1/4"
As for restoration tips and help, you need to take Bert Saunders to dinner.
