I have a Series B RB Graflex 3x4 with the standard 6-3/8" f/4.5 lens and would like to use filters for B&W photography. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to do this? I've been told I need an adapter ring to fit into the front lens threads and then mount a filter on the ring. Is this correct, and can anyone advise me about the right thread size for such a ring? Or were there filters that would mount directly on the lens?
Also I'd like to look for a long (or telephoto) lens in the 10-12" range. What is the longest lens that can be used on a 3x4, and what is the correct thread size? Any help would be much appreciated. I'm not looking for anything state-of-the-art -- perhaps someone could point me to some likely older lenses that I'd be able to use. |
