Can you get away with using any movements at all with this lens?
I usually stop down to f16-22 and do not make massive enlargements.
I put the thing on my Linhof Color view camera but couldnt see any vignetting at full front rise when I was viewing the image on the screen (f4.7).
I have taken two test negs just to see, but I may not develope or have prints made for a while.

Would it use more of the available coverage of a lens if using front forwards tilt?
The image being rendered as a elipse instead of a circle.

I know I can get the effect of tilt forwards with my Graphic by a combination of bed drop and front rise to realign the lens.

The front tilt will work well if you are photographing a subject arranged along a plane which, if extended, intersects the plane of the back and the plane of the lensboard at a single point.

As for coverage, I think the only way to find out is to make some test exposures and see how well you like them. Quite a few lenses will produce visible image circles that are a good deal larger than the usable image circle. You often don't pick up the severe off-axis aberrations with the naked eye. At the same time, nearly any large-format lens will produce a wider acceptable image circle when stopped down all the way.

At f:22, you might very well get a satisfactory image with some lens rise or shift. It depends on how much you're going to enlarge it (if at all), and what you regard as satsifactory!
