Anyone know where I can get information on this camera, for example an instruction booklet, or company history, I got this for $50.00 and eventhough it weighs a ton, It works nicely!!

According to McKeown's, the "New Vue" was produced by Newton Photo Products in Los Angeles, around 1947. There seem to be more of them around than one might expect -- I've seen a couple in stores, over the decades -- but nobody seems to have a manual on offer.

I, too, would be glad to know something about the manufacturer. There were a number of companies in that part of the world, at that time, that produced a single model and then disappeared (Brand Camera Co. was another).

It looks like a camera that would have been very well-suited to someone with a studio specializing in catalog or other product photography, and perhaps some portraiture.
