Someone is probably going to say this belongs in "Flashes", but I would like to know what flash is correct for a 1942 C-3 Ground Camera (not the early model). I see different ones in images online, and I need to procure one to build my set and want to get it right the first time!

Thanks,
RON

Take a look at this 1941 Graflex catalog http://www.cameraeccentric.com/html/info/graflex_10.html then the 1941 Graflex Price Supplement http://www.cameraeccentric.com/html/info/graflex_9.html
The infamous Graflex Flash Synchronizer that became that hated movie prop tops the list. The flash synchronizers are on page 5.
1941 listings should be the same used in 1942

The Graflex serial number is Ink Stamped on the under side of the camera top, handle side. With the bed down, bellows fully retracted, look at the camera top underside with a bright flashlight, record and post the serial number, it will be 6 digits.

Serial number on the inside top is 307360. Interesting since the US Army Air Force serial number on the front of the camera is AC-42-72679. You would think they would have re-used SOME of the original number!

Thanks for the details.

307360 - this camera does not exist!
Its in the first part of a missing block of 2977 missing serial numbers posted between 1/15/42 and 2/5/42.

Other nonexistent military cameras have surfaced in the past and in other formats.
