Hi~guys
I want refurbish my old series b,but I got problem when I try to take off the focusing knob.There's a tiny hole on the knob,but it doesn't look like a screw in it. So,is there anybody have clue on this?

there are screws on the brass plate und there are srews on the inside of the camera. you will have to remove the lensboard first. |

Look closely at the knob 180° from the hole you see, is there a round piece that does not match the texture of the knob? The knob is attached to the focus shaft by a pin, it may be tapered meaning one end is larger than the other. Taper pins only go in and come out one way.
Using a pin punch and a hammer drive the pin out while supporting the knob to prevent bending the focus shaft from the smallest end of the pin if applicable. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |

I tried to knock the round piece that you mentioned but it didn't move.So,I will try to knock it harder.Thank you~ |

Put some penetrating oil in the hole and let it sit for a day or two then try again. If you have a hydraulic press it will work better than a hammer and punch.
