I am looking to buy one of these flashes and was wondering what the differences are between the models. Such as 610,710, 780, 782, etc. Particularly the 710 and the 780. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Strobonar 710.....

Four of the most commonly encountered Strobonars , on e-Bay and elsewhere, are the 700, 770, 800 and 880. The 700 is a manual flash with 4 sub-C cell NiCads in a removable battery tray, the 770 is an auto version of the 770. The 800 Pressmaster is a manual flash which operates only on a 510v battery pack or AC adapter, the 880 Pressmaster is an auto version. All 4 of the above flashes have a "U" shaped flash tube and a guide number of 160. They are a non-thyristor equivalent in power to the SunPak 611 handle mount flash.
