Good evening. New member here. I own a Crown Graphic 3.25X4.25 and have been putting it through its paces. I am using Efke PL 100 BW film exclusively (as it is the only sheet film I can find in this size). As I continue my search for pre-cut film for my camera I have continually come across the Fuji peel-apart film in the 3.25X4.25 size. I searched and found that the Polaroid 405 is designed for the peel-apart 3.25X4.25. Does anyone know if this film back will fit on my Crown Graphic? I would like to have an answer before I go bidding on a 405 on Ebay.

Thanks for the info.

The 405 holder was designed for the 4x5 back size. Sorry.

Alecj is right. Polaroid "Picture in a minute" film came out long after the 3x4 format was as forgotten as floppy discs.

Adapting a 405 holder to work with a 3x4 camera can be done but it takes some time in a machine shop, which is always an expensive place to spend time in.

I modified a Graflex (not Graphic or Graflok) back to permanently fit a 405 to it, but that eliminates using film without changing the back of the camera.

The other way is to add a spacer to the holder that would allow it to attach with a Graflok back. This way you could use both film and Polaroid, but you'd have to add use a spacer between the Infinity stops and the lens to compensate for the focus shift of the Polaroid.
