Is IR film safe to shoot in a pre-anny speed graphic? Efke has IR film is 5x7 and I thoguht I'd like to give it a try but at $80/box I thought I'd ask here if anyone knows if speeders "leak" IR

If it has original bellows, it probably isn't infrared safe. You could loosely wrap it in aluminum foil to make it safe. Film holders - be sure the dark slides have 5 bumps on the grip (type 5). The ones with 4, or no bumps aren't safe. The rest of it should be fine.

Wow I never knew those bumps meant anything besides to tell you which way the darkslide was in the dark. I have quite a few with 5 bumps, I might have to consider the efke IR film too...
