Interesting concept: pi + orgies. Those mathematicians must have some really fun parties!

Around here it's spelled "pierogies," but I catch your drift.

Henry, Second Sunday isn't dead yet. Went there today, came home with a knob wind 8 exposure 2x3 roll holder. What's neat about it is that the housing had the pin rollers. Not too expensive, $40.

Hey Dan, good for you, nice catch! I have a 23 knob wind but haven't used it much; don't think it has the rollers 8-( . But I should do more with the 6x9 format, as it is better in "landscape" mode for the somewhat wider field of view I sometimes need in architectural work.

I went over to Wayne only once. Took the better part of two hours one-way. I intentionally passed on the last Ft. Wash. show; later heard it was a bust, with dealers, what few there were, packing up early. I guess if I were desperately in need of something I'd make the trip, but my kit is complete since I acquired my Graflite Jr. from troublemaker. Now to plan exactly how I'm gonna use those 93 no. 5B and 25 "blubs" I have.

Dan and more specifically Henry I happened to stop by Zern's Farmers market http://www.zerns.com/ (off 422 near Pottstown) of all places last weekend and there is a guy there with a stand which is like nirvana for old camera lovers. I think I saw 6 or 7 (not really sure) various graphics, one of the old SLRs and a whole bunch of other various stuff there. There was even what looked like a 35mm roll back for a graphic (or other press camera) there. More graflex gear in one place than I have seen anywhere else.

Wow, thanks for the tip! I go down that way to have my Toyotas serviced at Limerick, in the shadow of the nuke power plant. I'll look for the guy at Zern's.

The swap in Cincinnati (4x per year in Montgomery) always has lots of Graflex/Graphic stuff. I have seen lots of good items (and bought a few) over the last 10 years. One good one that someone bought was a nearly NOS circa 1970 4x5 Crown Special in the box!

For anyone in the DC area that did not get a card, the Photorama show is scheduled for 18 May at the usual Tyson's location. Hours are 10:00 ~ 3:00, but prior experience is that being there when they open is the way to go.

I think this is a bonus show; it is the first time I have seen them schedule one at this time of year here.

Not a bad deal on the holder. I think transitionary to the RH series as they don't have the bigger heavier film rollers yet in the actual film housing, thus lighter. I think I paid 65.00 for one in minty cond in its box, and another in equaly good came with a camera, nice surprise. Mine pretty much go backpacking only when I do color transperency films and want the full frame. Still curls some. Perhaps I can re-train myself to advance for the exposure and not right after.
