Henry, the person posting as primus96 strikes me as a bit, um, dim. HE swore that the the junk he sold me was a Dagor. It isn't sharp in the center at any aperture. Its soft and flary and, in all, a narsty lens. Which is appropriate, since it was one of Goerz's budget line, made for cheap and narsty folding cameras.

I'm out around $35 for it, in all, and since I didn't see a way of recovering that much have kept it. Problem is, since I know what it is (and isn't, too), I don't see how I can stick anyone with it.

Cheers,

Dan

An unfortunnate message from Mr Fromm, but I sold him the lens and I was unsure what it was or if it needed attention.
All I knew of it was that the thing came off a Goerz Tenax 9x12 plate camera.
I thought it was a Dagor, but it wasn't.
Mr F. reckoned it was a dialyte after receiving it (after looking at the internal reflections.

That's the problem with a particular lens being so desirable. I thought i'd got myself a bargain.
This new lens I have acquired it does say "Dagor". Unless someone changed the bezel around the lens................
And if Mr F. wants his money back...

Tune in for the next episode of the Goerz saga at a forum near you.

Mmm, very interesting. I'm beginning to understand how revolutions get started. (Just kidding!) Anyhow, everybody have a Happy New Year!
