The Synchro-Compur-P lens on my Crown Graphic 4x5 had a lever which can be set to either "X" or "M". The manual I have available is not clear on this issue, and I'm fearful of using the shutter without understanding what these are for!! Can anyone advise on their meaning and how to use?
Thanx! Great Forum! |

Its for flaysh synchronization. X has no delay and is for all electronic flash, M has a 20milisecond delay for M class flashbulbs (No5, 25, 11, 40, etc) as they need a bit of a head start to go off when the shutter is open. |
