I found Dan Fromm's Feb 06 post on lens throat dimensions for various sizes and that helps one side of my project.

Can someone refer me to or take measurements for me, for a standard 2x3 SG lensboard?

I only have 4x5 Graflex stuff & that's why I'm asking.

I'm making a lens board that is thick enough to hold a lens with multiple rear protrusions...the rear of the lens will likely fit a 2x3 (41 mm diam if I remember right), but the flange is so wide it needs to be on a stepped lensboard.

Thank you

Murray, do you have a Miniature Speed Graphic or a 2x3 Pacemaker Graphic? The boards are different. Both flavors use 2.5" x 2.5", but the Mini uses a stepped wooded board and the Pacemakers use a metal board. The two types don't interchange very well.

And what are you trying to accomplish? There are many ways to attach lenses in barrel to little boards.

Well, Dan, I only have 4x5's.

I'll be testing a lens that was made for 46mm longroll, a little bigger than 6x4.5. I think it's a 'sleeper', a helical focus zoom made for MF.

If Murray's Law doesn't prevail, it might cover 6x6.

I also may use it for macro/near-macro where it WILL cover larger negs.

The reason I am asking all the 'out-of-hand' questions for the camera I DON'T have is because I'd like to mount the lens on a common 2x3 SG board size and have someone (like maybe you?) see if it's as cool a find as I thought...I have access to more.

THIS one wasn't a $5 useless monochromatic orphan, before you conclude thusly...

Downside is 95 mm filter thread with different pitch than current eBay offerings.
