Wow---I just signed on today, 2/10/05, at 3:35 p.m., and there were 43 users browsing the board. Forty-three!
Is there something about Thursday afternoon, or what?
(Double-wow. I just looked again at 3:41 and the number was up to 46. This is crazy!)

Yep, and just a hald hour or so before that, it was 101...
I was thinking of posting about it myself. The past two days have seen consistent use of between 35-100 people on-line. Is Graflex making a come-back???
P.S. And you'd think they'd post somthin?

101!? Holy moley! They're lurking, just waiting to rise up and take over! Like in "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." It must be speculators and spies from the Famous Auction Site, who are infiltrating our ranks to eat out our substance, force prices down, then swoop in and clean up big time!! Attention, everybody: no more buying/selling Graflex/Graphic until further notice from Command Central! Freeze out the Invaders! Post deceptive replies to all stranger inquiries! Smite them, Lord, with Thy mighty arm! |

We're a curiosity! Seeing how humans from the last century lived without digital. |

Perhaps thanks to movies like "THE AVIATOR" and documentaries on the life of Howard Hughes, where these Graphics can be seen in abundance.Seeing one in real life after a half century and still working is something the modern generation cannot grasp.
Deep down, they would desire one but haven't a clue on it's workings. That's the fascination about this camera-it's history in the making & it's long association with Hollywood. |
