I want to put a longer lens, 165mm on a 2x3 Crown with a Kalart. This is a Pacamaker Version Body. Does the rangefinder have enough adjustment available to couple with this focal length? Will I have enough bellows extension to shoot a head and shoulders pic?

Keith,
Answers to your questions: 1) no; 2) yes.
1) The linkage (the metal arm inside the camera box) between the Kalart and the bed will disconnect before you can establish infinity focus with the 165. 2) I have used the 203 Optar on my Century 2x3 (at infinity the bellows is fully extended and the bed is racked out all the way), so you should have no trouble using the 165 the way you describe.

I had a feeling that would be the case. Thanks for the tip on the 203 optar. Cheers.
